Sketched in Copic fineliners and pencils this beautiful fox will certainly make an eye catching feature in any room or will make the perfect gift.

From the gentle strokes of a pen to the delicate colours etched onto Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed Paper, this sketch takes you on a journey to explore the mesmerizing charm of the fox.

I start by roughly sketching out the outline, every pen stroke then breathes life into the fox, it’s a meticulous process paying special attention to bringing out the fox’s soulful eyes and the intricate patterns of its fur. Each line and shading technique is carefully chosen to convey depth, emotion, and realism.

The fox is part of my latest woodland series, check out I see You – The Hare and Spooked – The Pheasant. Over the next few weeks more will appear, hopefully in time for a 2024 calendar.
